Can You Believe?

Progress ... continues.

I've noticed in the past 2 weeks an increase in my confidence and range of motion.  For years preceeding my hip replacement - and in the 6 months since - bringing my right foot up to the top of my left knee whilst sitting down remained impossible.

Even since surgery - I can do it but I must lean back quite a bit to get it there and then - it's tight and not comfortable.

That changed suddenly last night.  I was sitting on the edge of my bed to put on a pair of shoes - and quite without thinking about it, I brought my right foot up to rest on top of my left knee.

It just - happened.  No leaning back. No thinking about it. No effort at all.

It was just - magical.  There have been other similar "WOW" moments in the past 2 weeks.  I've been told that the 6-8 month post-op period is one that can sometimes be filled with this kind of random and sudden progress.

Which is just fine by me!
